Tyrone Roderick Williams is the Deputy Executive Director of Development at the Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment Agency (SHRA) and the Director of the Sacramento Promise Zone. He is a Texas native whose family members were emancipated on June 19, 1865. The stories of their life experiences and the celebration of Juneteenth have been passed down through 6 generations.
