In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment Agency (SHRA), in partnership with the City and the County of Sacramento, is offering emergency rent and utilities assistance for renters impacted by COVID-19, through federal and state funding. The program will help low-income renters catch up on past-due rent and utility payments due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Landlords can apply for assistance on behalf of their tenants, and tenants may also apply on their own behalf.
Application Period: February 25 – March 19, 2021.
